The third interview we did with Muttalip Ipek, our Head of Press & Finishing at A&T Wr. Neudorf / Austria.
 

How would you describe your job?

Muttalip Ipek: Managing a production is a mixture of coordination and cooperation. It also requires a high degree of flexibility to be able to react quickly to changing conditions. 
 

What are the most important decisions you make in your daily business?

Muttalip: First and foremost these are personnel decisions, in the sense of how and where employees are best deployed. The aim is to ensure continuous production of high quality.
 

What makes ISOVOLTA unique?

Muttalip: ISOVOLTA is characterized by its special products. And by its great employees, who are involved in the work of all departments such as R&D, production and sales on a daily basis.
 

How do you help a new employee understand the culture of ISOVOLTA?

Muttalip: I don't think it needs my help. The past has shown that it is the employees themselves who give a new colleague our culture and cohesion. 
 

What is the biggest challenge you set yourself at the beginning of the year to ensure that you will do your best?

Muttalip: I have clear performance indicators that I must follow. My goal is to bring them up to a high level or keep them at a high level.
 

What is your favorite part about working at ISOVOLTA?

Muttalip: To play a significant role in ensuring that high quality products are leaving our company. 
 

What gets you most excited about the company’s future?

Muttalip: This company does not stand still, it moves with the times. It reacts quickly to changing circumstances and is constantly seeking for improvement. And this will continue in the future - that is what inspires me.
 

What is your biggest dream in life?

Muttalip: I have already fulfilled my biggest dream with my two wonderful children.

After finishing commercial high school in Antalya, Muttalip came to Austria and has been working for ISOVOLTA since 2001. In the first years at the company he passed through different production departments. 

Since 2007, as he says himself, he has been in the fortunate position of managing an excellent team himself.
